Shu'ayb In Quran / Islam (Chapters / Verses of Shu'ayb in Quran / Islam)

And to (the people of) Madyan (Midian), (We sent) their brother Shuaib. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him. (La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah))." Verily, a clear proof (sign) from your Lord has come unto you; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers. (Quran 7:85)
"And sit not on every road, threatening, and hindering from the Path of Allah those who believe in Him. and seeking to make it crooked. And remember when you were but few, and He multiplied you. And see what was the end of the Mufsidoon (mischief-makers, corrupts, liars). (Quran 7:86)
"And if there is a party of you who believes in that with which I have been sent and a party who do not believe, so be patient until Allah judges between us, and He is the Best of judges." (Quran 7:87)
The chiefs of those who were arrogant among his people said: "We shall certainly drive you out, O Shuaib, and those who have believed with you from our town, or else you (all) shall return to our religion." He said: "Even though we hate it! (Quran 7:88)
"We should have invented a lie against Allah if we returned to your religion, after Allah has rescued us from it. And it is not for us to return to it unless Allah, our Lord, should will. Our Lord comprehends all things in His Knowledge. In Allah (Alone) we put our trust. Our Lord! Judge between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those who give judgment." (Quran 7:89)
The chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people said (to their people): "If you follow Shuaib, be sure then you will be the losers!" (Quran 7:90)
So the earthquake seized them and they lay (dead), prostrate in their homes. (Quran 7:91)
Those who belied Shuaib, became as if they had never dwelt there (in their homes). Those who belied Shuaib, they were the losers. (Quran 7:92)
Then he (Shuaib) turned from them and said: "O my people! I have indeed conveyed my Lords Messages unto you and I have given you good advice. Then how can I sorrow for the disbelieving peoples (destruction)." (Quran 7:93)
And to the Madyan (Midian) people (We sent) their brother Shuaib. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah, you have no other Ilah (God) but Him, and give not short measure or weight, I see you in prosperity; and verily I fear for you the torment of a Day encompassing. (Quran 11:84)

They said: "O Shuaib! Does your Salat (prayer) (i.e. the prayers which you offer has spoiled your mind, so you) command that we leave off what our fathers used to worship, or that we leave off doing what we like with our property? Verily, you are the forbearer, right-minded!" (They said this sarcastically). (Quran 11:87)
He said: "O my people! Tell me, if I have a clear evidence from my Lord, and He has given me a good sustenance from Himself (shall I corrupt it by mixing it with the unlawfully earned money). I wish not, in contradiction to you, to do that which I forbid you. I only desire reform so far as I am able, to the best of my power. And my guidance cannot come except from Allah, in Him I trust and unto Him I repent. (Quran 11:88)
"And O my people! Let not my Shiqaq cause you to suffer the fate similar to that of the people of Nooh (Noah) or of Hood or of Salih (Saleh), and the people of Lout (Lot) are not far off from you! (Quran 11:89)

He said: "O my people! Is then my family of more weight with you than Allah? And you have cast Him away behind your backs. Verily, my Lord is surrounding all that you do. (Quran 11:92)
"And O my people! Act according to your ability and way, and I am acting (on my way). You will come to know who it is on whom descends the torment that will cover him with ignominy, and who is a liar! And watch you! Verily, I too am watching with you." (Quran 11:93)
And when Our Commandment came, We saved Shuaib and those who believed with him by a Mercy from Us. And As-Saeehah (torment - awful cry, etc.) seized the wrong-doers, and they lay (dead) prostrate in their homes. (Quran 11:94)
