And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. (Quran 15:19)
And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves. (Quran 16:15)
And Allah has made for you out of that which He has created shades, and has made for you places of refuge in the mountains, and has made for you garments to protect you from the heat (and cold), and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He perfect His Grace unto you, that you may submit yourselves to His Will (in Islam). (Quran 16:81)
And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height. (Quran 17:37)
And they ask you concerning the mountains, say; "My Lord will blast them and scatter them as particles of dust. (Quran 20:105)
"Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. (Quran 20:106)
"You will see therein nothing crooked or curved." (Quran 20:107)
Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water).Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but most of them know not. (Quran 27:61)
He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. (Quran 31:10)
Truly, We did offer AlAmanah (the trust or moral responsibility or honesty and all the duties which Allah has ordained) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allahs Torment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results). (Quran 33:72)
And indeed We bestowed grace on David from Us (saying): "O you mountains. Glorify (Allah) with him! And you birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him." (Quran 34:10)
Verily, We made the mountains to glorify Our Praises with him (Dawood (David)) in the Ashi (i.e. after the mid-day till sunset) and Ishraq (i.e. after the sunrise till mid-day). (Quran 38:18)
He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it, and He blessed it, and measured therein its sustenance (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four days were equal in the length of time), for all those who ask (about its creation). (Quran 41:10)
And among His Signs are the ships, in the sea, like mountains. (Quran 42:32)
And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). (Quran 50:7)
And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? (Quran 77:27)
And the mountains as pegs? (Quran 78:7)
And the mountains He has fixed firmly; (Quran 79:32)
And when the mountains shall made to pass away; (Quran 81:3)
And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? (Quran 88:19)
