Medinah In Quran / Islam
(Chapters / Verses of Medinah in Quran / Islam)

And among the bedouins round about you, some are hypocrites, and so are some among the people of Al-Madinah, they exaggerate and persist in hypocrisy, you (O Muhammad SAW) know them not, We know them. We shall punish them twice, and thereafter they shall be brought back to a great (horrible) torment. (Quran 9:101)
It was not becoming of the people of Al-Madinah and the bedouins of the neighbourhood to remain behind Allahs Messenger (Muhammad SAW when fighting in Allahs Cause) and (it was not becoming of them) to prefer their own lives to his life. That is because they suffer neither thirst nor fatigue, nor hunger in the Cause of Allah, nor they take any step to raise the anger of disbelievers nor inflict any injury upon an enemy but is written to their credit as a deed of righteousness. Surely, Allah wastes not the reward of the Muhsinoon (Quran 9:120)
If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. (Quran 33:60)
They (hyprocrites) say: "If we return to Al-Madinah, indeed the more honourable (Abdoollah bin Ubai bin Salul, the chief of hyprocrites at AlMadinah) will expel therefrom the meaner (i.e. Allahs Messenger SAW)." But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not. (Quran 63:8)
