Death In Quran (Chapters / Verses of Death in Quran)

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). (Quran 3:185)
"Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling to Faith: Believe in your Lord, and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders). (Quran 3:193)
"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!" And if some good reaches them, they say, "This is from Allah," but if some evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you (O Muhammad SAW)." Say: "All things are from Allah," so what is wrong with these people that they fail to understand any word? (Quran 4:78)
Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good, and to Us you will be returned. (Quran 21:35)
Being miserly towards you (as regards help and aid in Allahs Cause). Then when fear comes, you will see them looking to you, their eyes revolving like (those of) one over whom hovers death, but when the fear departs, they will smite you with sharp tongues, miserly towards (spending anything in any) good (and only covetous of booty and wealth). Such have not believed. Therefore Allah makes their deeds fruitless, and that is ever easy for Allah. (Quran 33:19)
Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah (i.e. they have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting), and showed not their backs to the disbelievers), of them some have fulfilled their obligations (i.e. have been martyred), and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed (i.e.they never proved treacherous to their covenant which they concluded with Allah) in the least. (Quran 33:23)
They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, (Quran 44:56)
Then how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs? (Quran 47:27)
We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, (Quran 56:60)
And you at the moment are looking on, (Quran 56:84)
But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, (Tafsir At-Tabaree, Vol.27, Page 209) (Quran 56:85)
Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) (Quran 56:86)
Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? (Quran 56:87)
And spend (in charity) of that with which We have provided you, before death comes to one of you and he says: "My Lord! If only You would give me respite for a little while (i.e. return to the worldly life), then I should give Sadaqah (i.e. Zakat) of my wealth , and be among the righteous (i.e. perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah)). (Quran 63:10)
And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) (Quran 75:29)
Say (O Muhammad SAW to these hypocrites who ask your permission to run away from you): "Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and then you will enjoy no more than a little while!" (Quran 33:16)
Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." (Quran 32:11)
So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), "Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will remit from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allah, and with Allah is the best of rewards." (Quran 3:195)
Those who emigrated in the Cause of Allah and after that were killed or died, surely, Allah will provide a good provision for them. And verily, it is Allah Who indeed is the Best of those who make provision. (Quran 22:58)
So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allahs Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus (you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection), but if it had been Allahs Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost, (Quran 47:4)
This is because your Lord would not destroy the (populations of) towns for their wrongdoing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allah) while their people were unaware (so the Messengers were sent). (Quran 6:131)
And Allah will never lead a people astray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them as to what they should avoid. Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything. (Quran 9:115)
And for every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a Messenger; when their Messenger comes, the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. (Quran 10:47)
And your Lord would never destroy the towns wrongfully, while their people were right-doers. (Quran 11:117)
And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it. (Quran 15:4)
Then, verily! Your Lord for those who do evil (commit sins and are disobedient to Allah) in ignorance and afterward repent and do righteous deeds, verily, your Lord thereafter, (to such) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 16:119)
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear anothers burden. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). (Quran 17:15)
And never will your Lord destroy the towns (populations) until He sends to their mother town a Messenger reciting to them Our Verses. And never would We destroy the towns unless the people thereof are Zalimoon (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, oppressors and tyrants). (Quran 28:59)
And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, "They are dead." Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not. (Quran 2:154)
Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision. (Quran 3:169)
He who emigrates (from his home) in the Cause of Allah, will find on earth many dwelling places and plenty to live by. And whosoever leaves his home as an emigrant unto Allah and His Messenger, and death overtakes him, his reward is then surely incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 4:100)
