Ad In Quran (Chapters / Verses of Ad in Quran)

And to Ad (people, We sent) their brother Hood. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him. (La ilaha ill-Allah: none has the right to be worshipped but Allah). Will you not fear (Allah)?" (Quran 7:65)
"And remember when He made you successors after Ad (people) and gave you habitations in the land, you build for yourselves palaces in plains, and carve out homes in the mountains. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, and do not go about making mischief on the earth." (Quran 7:74)
Has not the story reached them of those before them? - The people of Nooh (Noah), Ad, and Thamood, the people of Ibraheem (Abraham), the dwellers of Madyan (Midian) and the cities overthrown (i.e. the people to whom Lout (Lot) preached), to them came their Messengers with clear proofs. So it was not Allah Who wronged them, but they used to wrong themselves. (Quran 9:70)
And to Ad (people We sent) their brother Hood. He said, "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him. Certainly, you do nothing but invent (lies)! (Quran 11:50)
"O my people I ask of you no reward for it (the Message). My reward is only from Him, Who created me. Will you not then understand? (Quran 11:51)
"And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as Mujrimoon (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah)." (Quran 11:52)
They said: "O Hood! No evidence have you brought us, and we shall not leave our gods for your (mere) saying! And we are not believers in you. (Quran 11:53)
"All that we say is that some of our gods (false deities) have seized you with evil (madness)." He said: "I call Allah to witness and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe as partners in worship, - (Quran 11:54)
With Him (Allah). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite. (Quran 11:55)
"I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth). (Quran 11:56)
"So if you turn away, still I have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. Surely, my Lord is Guardian over all things." (Quran 11:57)
And when Our Commandment came, We saved Hood and those who believed with him by a Mercy from Us, and We saved them from a severe torment. (Quran 11:58)
Such were Ad (people). They rejected the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and disobeyed His Messengers, and followed the command of every proud obstinate (oppressor of the truth, from their leaders). (Quran 11:59)
And they were pursued by a curse in this world and (so they will be) on the Day of Resurrection. No doubt! Verily, Ad disbelieved in their Lord. So away with Ad, the people of Hood. (Quran 11:60)
And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were belied the Prophets before them, (by) the people of Nooh (Noah), Ad and Thamood, (Quran 22:42)
And (also) Ad and Thamood, and the dwellers of Ar-Rass, and many generations in between. (Quran 25:38)
Ad (people) belied the Messengers. (Quran 26:123)
When their brother Hood said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? (Quran 26:124)
"Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. (Quran 26:125)
"So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. (Quran 26:126)
"No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns, and all that exists). (Quran 26:127)
"Do you build high palaces on every high place, while you do not live in them? (Quran 26:128)
"And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever. (Quran 26:129)
"And when you seize, seize you as tyrants? (Quran 26:130)
"So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. (Quran 26:131)
"And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know. (Quran 26:132)
"He has aided you with cattle and children. (Quran 26:133)
"And gardens and springs. (Quran 26:134)
"Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day." (Quran 26:135)
They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. (Quran 26:136)
"This is no other than the false-tales and religion of the ancients, (Tafsir At-Tabaree, Vol.19, Page 97) (Quran 26:137)
"And we are not going to be punished." (Quran 26:138)
So they belied him, and We destroyed them. Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. (Quran 26:139)
And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (Quran 26:140)
And Ad and Thamood (people)! And indeed (their destruction) is clearly apparent to you from their (ruined) dwellings. Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and turned them away from the (Right) Path, though they were intelligent. (Quran 29:38)
Before them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nooh (Noah); and Ad; and Firaun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to punish the people), (Quran 38:12)
As for Ad, they were arrogant in the land without right, and they said: "Who is mightier than us in strength?" See they not that Allah, Who created them was mightier in strength than them. And they used to deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)! (Quran 41:15)
So We sent upon them furious wind in days of evil omen (for them) that We might give them a taste of disgracing torment in this present worldly life, but surely the torment of the Hereafter will be more disgracing, and they will never be helped. (Quran 41:16)
And remember (Hood) the brother of Ad, when he warned his people in Al-Ahqaf (the curved sand-hills in the southern part of Arabian Peninsula). And surely, there have passed away warners before him and after him (saying): "Worship none but Allah; truly, I fear for you the torment of a mighty Day." (Quran 46:21)
They said: "Have you come to turn us away from our aliha (gods)? Then bring us that with which you threaten us, if you are one of the truthful!" (Quran 46:22)
He said: "The knowledge (of the time of its coming) is with Allah only, and I convey to you that wherewith I have been sent, but I see that you are a people given to ignorance!" (Quran 46:23)
Then, when they saw it as a dense cloud coming towards their valleys, they said: "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Nay, but it is that (torment) which you were asking to be hastened! a wind wherein is a painful torment! (Quran 46:24)
Destroying everything by the Command of its Lord! So they became such that nothing could be seen except their dwellings! Thus do We recompense the people who are Mujrimoon (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, etc.)! (Quran 46:25)
And indeed We had firmly established them with that wherewith We have not established you (O Quraish)! And We had assigned them the (faculties of) hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts, but their hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and their hearts availed them nothing since they used to deny the Ayat (Allahs Prophets and their Prophethood, proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and they were completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! (Quran 46:26)
And Ad, and Firaun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), (Quran 50:13)
And in Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; (Quran 51:41)
And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former Ad (people), (Quran 53:50)
Ad (people) belied (their Prophet, Hood), then how (terrible) was My Torment and My Warnings? (Quran 54:18)
Verily, We sent against them a furious wind of harsh voice on a day of evil omen and continuous calamity. (Quran 54:19)
Plucking out men as if they were uprooted stems of date-palms. (Quran 54:20)
Then, how (terrible) was My Torment and My Warnings? (Quran 54:21)
Thamood and Ad people denied the Qariah (the striking Hour (of Judgement))! (Quran 69:4)
And as for Ad, they were destroyed by a furious violent wind; (Quran 69:6)
Did you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not see (thought) how your Lord dealt with Ad (people)? (Quran 89:6)
